Advanced CCTV Lens Calculator for CCTV designers. It offers standard functions of Lens Calculators - calculation of the field-of-view size depending on the distance and the lens focal length as well as several new, more effective tools.
The CCTV Lens Calculator will help you:
Select lenses, resolutions and camera positions for proper design of CCTV systems.
Calculate projections of the field of view in order to draw them on the location plan.
The projections are calculated in 3D coordinate system, depending on camera height and inclination, as well as the maximum distance of surveillance.
Select the best resolution of the camera for any specific task.
Calculate the distance from the camera to which the spatial resolution (pixel density)criteria are satisfied. The default values ​​of these criteria correspond to the spatial resolution of the five areas according to the CCTV Operational Requirements Manual 2009: Monitor and Control, Detect, Observe, Recognize, Identify.
Calculate spatial resolution (pixel density) and the field of view size at any distances from the camera.
Visually, with automatically scalable photos, evaluate details of various objects at any distances from the camera or with known spatial resolution (pixel density). Lens Calculator contains photos of models of people and a car with license plate. You can add your own images.
