CodeMetric is a line counting and formatting utility. It supplies several valuable tools for the Visual C++ programmer. Primarily it allows the programmer to format his or her code in the style they prefer. It also provides the ability to count the number of lines of code, and to count the number of comment lines. The program comes with two different versions, a stand-alone executable and an add-in to Microsoft Visual C++. Both versions are supplied with the download, you may choose which version (or both versions) you wish to use. Both versions are capable of the same functions and even use the same information settings. So if you change your preferences in one, they are automatically reflected in the other. This program has been in full release for almost two years. This version has had many thousands of downloads, but only a few purchases. Frankly, not enough purchases to justify a planned new version. To attempt to boost sales we are making three changes.
