Viele mnemotechnische System sind entwickelt worden, um das Einprägen von Zahlen (PIN-Nummern, Telefonnummern, Passwörter usw.) zu erleichtern. Die verbreiteste dieser Techniken, das MAJOR-System, setzt anstelle der Zahlen 0 bis 9 stellvertretend Konsonanten, die auf der phonetischen Aussprache beruhen und in Gruppen nach Lautähnlichkeit angeordnet werden. Aus den Zahlen werden Zahl-Worte gebildet: so lässt sich die sechsstellige Zahl 132841 gemäss Major-System in die Konsonanten d - m - n - f - r - d umwandeln und daraus das Zahlwort Damenfahrrad ermitteln, das leichter als die ursprüngliche Zahl gelernt werden kann. Die Software automatisiert die Umwandlung der Zahlenfolgen in leicht merkbare Zahl-Worte: der Benutzer gibt einfach eine bis zu zehnstellige Zahl ein und erhält eine Reihe von Vorschlägen für Zahlwörter, die er von nun an benutzen kann, um sich die Zahl einzuprägen. Wenn anschliessend weitere Ziffern an die Zahl angefügt werden sollen, so liefert das Programm weitere Vorschläge bis die gesamte Zifferfolge in Zahlwörter umgewandelt ist
