Sous leur forme actuelle, les Dames furent inventées au 17ème siècle par un militaire français. Il existe par le monde de nombreuses variantes très jouées, ce qui explique pourquoi le jeu ne s'est toujours pas universalisé sous une forme unique. TLK Games a développé une version classique du jeu qui peut être jouée selon les règles françaises classique (en variante sans recul du pion), ou anglo-saxonnes sur un damier de 12x8 cases. Il est possible de jouer contre l'ordinateur à différents niveaux ELO ou contre un adversaire. Plusieurs angles de caméra en 3D temps réelle, la possibilité de jouer en 2D donnent à ce jeu une bonne ergonomie et permettent de limiter la fatigue visuelle. L'ordinateur suggère les coups à jouer et les parties peuvent être sauvegardées et reprises à loisir. Un bon damier sans gadgets inutiles pour joueurs de tous niveaux. Vous pouvez jouer contre l'ordinateur ou un autre joueur connecté en réseau et vérifier votre niveau ELO.
