Le Moulin est un des plus anciens jeux de stratégie spatiale du monde. Des traces remontent à l'antiquité égyptienne plus de 1400 ans avant notre ère. Le jeu proposé ici par TLK Games en 3D est la version à 9 pions, la plus courante de nos jours et aussi la plus intéressante. Le jeu se joue à deux, contre l'ordinateur à différents niveaux de difficultés ou contre un adversaire local ou en réseau dont on connaît l'adresse Internet. Vous pouvez soit créer une nouvelle partie, soit joindre une partie déjà ouverte sur le réseau. Contre l'ordinateur vous pouvez reprendre vos coups en revenant en arrière ou rejouer une partie que vous avez sauvegardée. Les règles sont très simples, le hasard ne joue aucun rôle et les options stratégiques sont variées à l'infini.
La prise en main de ce jeu est intuitive, l'aide en ligne et les menus sont toujours disponibles dans un coin de l'écran et s'ouvrent sous une caresse de la souris. Un soin particulier a été apporté au confort visuel et de nombreuses options sonores ou graphiques aident à créer une confortable ambiance de jeu. Par exemple, on peut visionner le plateau sous tous les angles et jouer dans un environnement graphique très soigné avec de riches textures. Ce jeu 3D tourne sous Windows 9x ou supérieur avec un Pentium? 400Mhz, ou équivalent équipé avec une carte accélératrice 3D compatible DirectX 8 minimum et 8 MO de mémoire vidéo. Il s'installe et se désinstalle facilement. Idéal pour apprendre, ce jeu évoluera avec les joueurs puisque TLK Games garantit à vie la mise à jour de la version enregistrée de ses jeux.
