Absolute Time Corrector fordert ueber das Internet die NIST-Zeit an und vergleicht sie mit der Zeit des Host-Computers. Unterscheidet sich diese, aendert der ATC automatisch die Zeit im Computer zur Zeit vom NIST.
Die neue Version des Programms enthaelt viel Vervollkommnungen - das Umwandeln nur der Stunden, das schnelle Auswaehlen der Servers-Zeit, die verbesserte Unterstutzung der Zeitzonen, der einfache und bequeme Anschluss an das lokale Netz(LaeNs). Einmal eingestellt, kann der Host-Computer als Zeit-Server fur Netzwerke in jeder Groesse dienen. Der Host-Computer kann so eingestellt werden, dass man die NIST-Zeit in frei waehlbaren Intervallen prufen kann. Ebenso kann jeder Computer im Netz einzeln so eingestellt werden, dass die Zeit im Host-Computer so oft ueberpruft wird, wie es der Netzwerkadministrator wunscht.
Dieses Programm ermoeglicht den Zugang auf etwa 250 bekannte Zeit-Server, so dass jeder Benutzer den direktesten Zeit-Server fur einen schnellen Zugriff waehlen kann. Ein anderer Vorteil Absolute Time Corrector besteht darin, dass er mit der Installation / Deinstallation vollstaendig ausgestattet ist, das jedem Menschen klar ist.
