Mit AceBackup sichern Sie Ihre wertvollen Dateien lokal auf beliebigen Datenträgern (Festplatten, Disketten, ZIP-, JAZZ-, USB- oder MO-Laufwerken sowie direkt auf CD/DVD), im Netzwerk oder sogar auf FTP-Servern.
Es überzeugt durch seine leistungsstarken Funktionen und einer einfach zu bedienenden Benutzeroberfläche mit der Möglichkeit, Daten per Mausklick direkt aus dem Windows-Explorer zu sichern.
Die Daten können verschlüsselt und komprimiert gesichert werden. Das Wiederherstellen der Daten kann entweder in dem Originalverzeichnis oder einem beliebigen Ordner erfolgen.
AceBackup unterstützt zwei Projekttypen: Ein BACKUP-Projekt sichert Ihre Dateien 1:1 mit Unterverzeichnissen, wie sie am Originalort vorliegen. Mit dem ARCHIV-Projekt können Sie Dateien beliebigen neuen Ordnern zuweisen.
Zu Ihrer Sicherheit verfügt AceBackup über mehrere Verschlüsselungsalgorithmen (bis 256-Bit). So kann kein Unbefugter Ihre sensiblen Daten im Backup einsehen. Archiv-Backups können auch verschlüsselt auf einem FTP-Server gespeichert werden.
Das Programm ermöglicht außerdem so genannte As-Is-Backups: Diese Backups werden unverschlüsselt und unkomprimiert erzeugt und können jederzeit, auch ohne AceBackup, wiederhergestellt werden.
Mit dem Zeitplaner geschieht das Ausführen regelmäßiger Backups automatisch, damit Ihre Datensicherungen stets aktuell bleiben.
Das Programm unterstützt auch das Backup mehrerer Versionen ein und derselben Datei, um bei versehentlichen Änderungen auf ältere Versionen zurückgreifen zu können.
Das Verwalten mehrerer Sicherungsdatenträger in einem Projekt, Filterung von Dateitypen und ein Update-Manager, der das Programm immer auf dem aktuellen Stand hält, runden die intuitive Komplettlösung für die Datensicherung ab.
