Katalogisieren Sie mit dieser komfortablen Datenträgerverwaltung ganze Datenträger oder nur einzelne Verzeichnisse. Diese werden dann in einer kompakten Datenbank gespeichert, und können wie im Windows Explorer betrachtet werden. Das Programm kann sogar den Inhalt von ACE-, ARJ-, CAB-, JAR-, RAR-, TAR- und ZIP-Archiven katalogisieren. Daten lassen sich über Ordner und Kategorien leicht verwalten. Geben Sie den Einträgen in Ihrer Datenbank eine Beschreibung, einen Kommentar, eine Bildvorschau oder weitere Informationen mit, um diese leichter identifizieren zu können. Versehen Sie Einträge in Ihrer Datenbank mit einem Passwortschutz, damit sie vor unbefugten Zugriffen geschützt sind.
Um nach Dateien zu suchen, können mehrere Suchdialoge mit Optionen für Datum, Grö�e und Kategorien geöffnet werden. Die schnelle Suchfunktion unterstützt auch Platzhalter. Haben Sie eine Datei gefunden, können Sie diese direkt aus dem Programm heraus öffnen oder kopieren.
Das Programm kann für einige Dateitypen automatisch Beschreibungen erstellen, z.B. für MP3s. Diese Funktion ist durch Plugins erweiterbar. Für Audio-CDs kann das Programm Informationen von Gracenote CDDB laden, entweder direkt beim Einlesen oder als Stapelverarbeitung für mehrere CDs, oder sie aus cdplayer.ini oder dem CD-Text lesen. Um Informationen aus Ihrer Datenbank zu exportieren oder zu drucken, können Sie anpassbare Objekt-Listen erstellen, welche sogar Informationen auswerten können, die in Dateinamen enthalten sind.
