Es gibt mal wieder Ärger: Das Imperium von Xolphur hat der Konföderation den Krieg erklärt. Dummerweise ist die komplette Streitmacht gerade damit beschäftigt, das Lula-System zu erobern. Also schickt der Supergeheimdienst Col. Ranseier, damit sich dieser den Vaxsyth-Jäger schnappt und ganz alleine den Oberxolphurier Colphath vernichtet. Klar, daß da nicht alles nach Plan läuft.
Col. Ranseiers Odyssee ist ein Actionspiel. Genauer kann man es schlecht einordnen, weil die Sub-Genres von Akt zu Akt wechseln. Mal ist der Col. im klassischen Plattformstil unterwegs, später folgt ein Weltraumshooter usw. Zum Glück gibt es ein Paßwortsystem, mit dem die verschiedenen Kapitel direkt angewählt werden können.
