Der OnlineMonitor dient der Visualisierung und Aufzeichnung des Datentransfers sowie der Kostenüberwachung von Internetverbindungen über das Windows-DF�-Netzwerk. Er zeigt die aktuellen Download- und Upload-Raten sowie weitere interessante Verbindungsdaten als Balkendiagramm und Zahlenwert kontinuierlich an und summiert die übertragene Datenmenge und die dadurch entstandenen Kosten über beliebige Zeiträume. Aus den so gewonnen Daten kann das Transfervolumen bei Zugängen, die mengenorientiert abrechnet werden, kontrolliert oder die Qualität einer Verbindung ermittelt werden.
