Password Safe ist die professionelle und komfortable Lösung zur Verwaltung Ihrer Passwörter und TAN-Block´s. Somit werden Sie nie mehr ein Passwort vergessen, oder es durch Aufschreiben verraten. Password Safe führt eine passwortgeschützte Datenbank Ihrer Zugangsdaten. Sie müssen sich nur ein Hauptpasswort merken, um unmittelbar auf Ihre geheimen Daten zugreifen zu können.
Nach der Installation legt der Anwender einen Datenbankkonto und ein Passwort an, wonach Password Safe die Datenbank erzeugt, in der sich beliebig viele Datensätze aus Namen, Passwort und frei formatierbaren Anmerkungen sowie beliebig vielen benutzerdefinierten Feldern speichern lassen. Die Datenbank wird mit Ihrem Hauptpasswort verschlüsselt. Sie können wählen, ob Sie beim Anzeigen der Passwortliste das tatsächliche Passwort sehen möchten, oder nicht. Auch so lä�t sich das Passwort einfach in die Zwischenablage kopieren und in eine Anwendung einfügen, ohne je das Passwort selbst preiszugeben.
�ber den Schnellzugriff haben Sie jederzeit alle Passwörter parat und können diese per Drag & Drop in jede beliebige Anwendung ziehen, wie z.B. dem Internet Explorer.
Die integrierte und komfortable TAN-Verwaltung bietet sogar die Importmöglichkeit von einer OCR-Scanner-Software. Ein lästiges eintippen der TAN´s gehört somit der Vergangenheit an.
