Sie ermöglicht die Überwachung sowohl von Bandbreiten als auch von Meßwerten wie CPU Auslastung, Speicherauslastung oder Temperatur. Packet Sniffing: Der eingebaut Packet Sniffer analysiert jedes Datenpaket, das die Netzwerkkarte durchläuft, um die Bandbreitennutzung zu ermitteln. NetFlow: Dieses Protokoll wird von den meisten Cisco Routern unterstützt und eignet sich besonders für Netzwerke mit hohem Datenaufkommen. Bei der Überwachung mit Packet Sniffer und NetFlow kann das Datenaufkommen auch pro IP Adresse oder pro Port berechnet werden um z.B. die aktuellen Top Talkers, Top Connections und Top Protocols in Ihrem Netz anzuzeigen.
