SecurDataStor Platinum can also protect Web content on media so users can access the content through secure locally hosted Web sessions. When users access the encrypted content on the media, a browser automatically launches and the software decrypts the content on-the-fly.
With the email feature, the software protects the information after it has been received. It also provides automatic notification to the sender of the receipt, use, and location of the information.
The permissions-based rights management feature enables the originator of the information to specify access control rules (e.g., permission to read, write, and copy files) and automatic time expiration. The originator can also restrict information so it cannot be copied, cut and pasted, or printed.
The internal auditing and key recovery feature enables users to track the information shared, with whom, their permissions, and user names and passwords.
