TxtEdit ist ein Textbearbeitungsprogramm für Text- oder Richtextdateien. Es enthält eine Rechtschreibeprüfung. TxtEdit schliesst eine "senden an" - Möglichkeit ein, die nützlich ist, um einen Blick auf Dateien in verschiedenen Formaten zu werfen. Starten Sie den Explorer, klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf irgend eine Datei, und wählen Sie TxtEdit im "senden an" - Menü. Eine Taskleiste erlaubt schnelles wechseln von einem Dokument zum anderen. Sie können TxtEdit auch als Editor für Ihre HTML, Perl oder PHP-dateien gebrauchen. Tags können mit einem Klick aus einer editierbaren Liste eingefügt werden. Auch spaltenweises Bearbeiten ist möglich. Mehrfache Zwischenablage ist vorhanden Zeilen sortieren, Zeilen zusammenfügen und weitere Funktionen Für Richtextdateien werden viele Formatierungsmöglichkeiten und das Einfügen von Bildern unterstützt. Unicode wird unterstützt. Auch andere Schriftzeichen-Sets in 8 Bit-Codierung (ANSI) werden unterstützt. Sie können die Sprache wählen, in der eine Textdatei geöffnet oder gespeichert werden soll! Springen Sie zu einer beliebigen Zeile mit einem Klick. Mit einem Knopfdruck kann eine geöffnete Datei auch mit einer anderen Applikation geöffnet werden. Eine Möglichkeit zur Seitenvorschau ist vorhanden. Benutzersprache kann zwischen Deutsch und Englisch gewählt werden. Weitere Sprachen werden unterstützt.
