Wir arbeiten seit Jahrzehnten mit Sicherheitssoftware und haben in dieser Zeit oft erlebt, dass PC-Benutzer sich nicht an ihre wichtigen Passwörter erinnern können, welche sehr lang und schwer zu merken sind. Um einen häufigeren Wechsel oder die Generierung einer großen Anzahl von MERKBAREN Passwörtern zu erleichtern hat INFOTECS einen völlig kostenlosen Passwortgenerator programmiert. Dieses Programm ist einfach und genial zugleich. Die Passwörter werden von leicht zu merkenden Satzkonstruktionen abgeleitet. Oft haben diese Phrasen einen witzigen Sinn, welcher das Erinnern der Passwörter erleichtert. Die Passwortliste kann in 3 Sprachen generiert werden: Englisch, Deutsch and Russisch. Zusätzlich kann ViPNet [Password Roulette] auch noch zufällige numerische Passwörter generieren. ViPNet [Password Roulette] generiert eine Passwort Phrase, von welcher das Passwort unter Verwendung, der durch den Nutzer vordefinierten Parameter, abgeleitet wird. Die Passwort Phrase, welche in Englisch, Deutsch oder Russisch (weitere Sprachen geplant) generiert werden kann, hat die Funktion einer ?Eselsbrücke? beim Merken des Passworts. Diese Wortkonstruktionen sind verständlich, da sie einen grammatikalisch vollständigen Satz bilden. Die Wörter wurden zufällig aus verschiedenen Wörterbüchern vom Passwortgenerator ausgewählt. Die Anzahl der Wörter innerhalb einer Konstruktion kann zwischen drei (Subjekt, Verb, Objekt) und vier (Attribut, Subjekt, Verb, Objekt) variieren. Des Weiteren ist es möglich, komplexere Passwörter unter Verwendung von zwei Phrasen abzuleiten. Das Passwort wird von der Wortkonstruktion generiert, indem es die ersten Buchstaben jedes Wortes nutzt. Zum Beispiel, ein Passwort in Deutsch unter Verwendung der ersten 3 Buchstaben jedes Wortes einer Konstruktion bestehend aus 4 Wörtern, würde so aussehen:
