nnCron LITE es pequeño pero poderoso, puede iniciar aplicaciones y abrir documentos en horarios o con frecuencia especificada. nnCron LITE is un perfecto y gratis clon para Windows del famoso planificador de UNIX Cron.
Aquí los mas importante atributos de nnCron LITE:
- se puede iniciar como un servicio o programa normal,
- Entiende el "cron table format" de UNIX y se maneja editando el archivo cron.tab que son compatible con los de UNIX,
- Pude fijar y usar los 'environment variables',
- Pude iniciar aplicaciones bajo el usuario vigente (WinNT/2000/XP),
- Pude ser ampliado con plugins escritos en Forth,
- Pude ser fácilmente afinada para sus necesidades,
- No consume demasiados recursos y trabaja bien en PC's muy viejas sin degradar sus rendimientos. Nunca hemos visto que como un servicio se le haya asignado mas de 150k de memoria operativa.
